This looks very much like herself. She has nice dapples and is quite dark on her rear end. She has perky little ears. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the horse has a little pink nose - Abra does too.

Walk your horse to a round pen. A 60-foot pen or smaller is ideal.
Use a longe line (a 30-foot line) to work your horse.
Use a longe whip to get the horse to walk or move out.

So I longed Abra in a round pen. She had obviously done this before. She did have a few different ideas about stopping and starting than I did but we can work on this.
I went to catch her in the field when she was out with her new horsy friends. When I moved slowly and fed her a treat after, she was not difficult to catch.
She is not neighing as much as she is not missing her horsy friend that came with her.
She knows when the feed cart is coming around in the barn. There is a note on her stall door - ¼ can of grain. This is just right for an overweight horse.
One of the barn staff told me about a young fellow who had ridden her in a lesson. I think he really liked her and asked to be able to ride her again.
Other riders are still admiring her. Her coat is very soft and she really likes to be patted and stroked.
A friend came by to meet her. He was impressed. Abra was too as he had brought some treats with him.
