I was watching Midsomer Murders - one of my favourite British mystery murder series. It has been playing for a long time on TV Ontario. There was a shipwreck and the Admiralty was mentioned as being involved in all British shipwrecks.
I do remember being in Bermuda and seeing a map with identified shipwrecks.
Then there is Sable Island off the coast of Nova Scotia where there were many shipwrecks. Some ponies live there (technically they are horses) and if you want to check on their situation - they are protected by Canadian law. You cannot disturb them. Prime Minister Diefenbaker was involved.

Then of course there is the most famous shipwreck - the Titanic. I have watched many times “A Night to Remember.” Many years later I watched the new Titanic movie on TV - an American romantic film starring Kate Winslet. I was not too impressed and I wondered about what all the hoopla was about.
I came across recently the hymn that was played when the ship was sinking. It is apocryphal that is was played then.
