After riding me as she often does even in the cold winter weather, my mom brushed me. She remarked that there were more grey hairs in her brush.
I am quite ready to take off my winter coat.
She also had a consultation with a couple of barn staff about the state of my shoes. I am definitely ready to take them off as well and go barefoot. A date with the blacksmith was mentioned - I hope that I like him.
My mom walked me out to my field to be with my new friends. She was very careful opening the gate for me - it did not look to be too solidly attached.
After she undressed me from my halter and lead shank, I found a cosy spot in the snow. I do like to roll. My mom was impressed when she saw me turn over as well. I have lost a few pounds.
Then I went back to the gate to exchange friendly greetings to my mom. I blew kisses to her over the gate. She patted my nose and told me I was a cute girl.
I like being with my new mom. We are both quite happy with each other.

Hello LibraryPerson,
I wandered over here from Sheaffer's blog because your signature now mentions an Abracadabra. Congratulations on your fine taste in horses. She is a Percheron Cross, no? Fabulous. And she looks a lot like I did in my younger day.
CindyLouWho
She is half Arab and the other half is Percheron and Quarter Horse.
Here is her life story.
