Online information

So I was looking for some information about one of my favourite mystery series that is from the UK and then show on my local PBS station. I found some information that the new series will be shown in the fall. Then I checked out what was on Youtube and there were all the episodes. I watched them all and they were very good. I also found out that there is a 6th season of the series which will be made.

I have recently acquired a drug card with my health plan. The receipt from the pharmacy and the account information available online was somewhat confusing. I will have to talk to someone on the telephone.

I was trying to figure out what I have been doing with my new cell phone. Finally I figured out how to find this information on my account. I do not use the phone too often but I usually take it with me now when I go out.

When I mailed a parcel today I got the receipt with the tracking number for online updates about the parcel’s status. Now I can see when the parcel has arrived at its destination. The mail service in Canada was not so available in the recent past with rotating strikes and then a lockout by Canada Post.

Then there is another mystery series that I like. It is filmed in Toronto. I wanted to know some more about it. Sure enough there is a Facebook page. I did sign up for it - I like it - in Facebook terms.

Another television note - my local PBS station is having some technical difficulties. One of the programs I wanted to see last night is available on Youtube. I will watch it soon.

So how would I manage my life if I did not have a computer and this online access to all this information?
