This and that

So where have I been between February 8 and now when I last blogged?

I have been on my computer often and now I stop by Facebook quite regularly. I find out all kinds of interesting things.
- people like my Camp Ouareau picture from some years ago
- a friend is back on Facebook after a long absence but I see her all the time
- a friend has taken a trip west and met lots of snow there - not what she had expected and now I remember her saying she does not like the winter
- a couple of friends have been missing from church for some time; they took an extended trip to a far country
- another friend is struggling with health issues. She is doing better as I saw her on Sunday.

I had a meeting about the May prayer conference. The date is coming closer all the time.

I had two visits from Nerds on Site to repair my computer. All is well now.

I have had a couple of visits about my wooden furniture to be painted.

I had my nice plumbing service in to check out my house in that department and all is well there.

I went to my last Parish Council meeting and we had wine and cheese at the end of it.

I had a phone conversation with an author about the death of a horse companion. It was an easy conversation in spite of the topic.

I went to the Seniors Fellowship at the church. I had to help with the service as my two colleagues were not available - one having a fun time with friends and the other at home sick. Do come again said the organizers. I do recognize a lot of the older folks as I have been around the church for 37 years now.

I met up with my two Altar Guild colleagues and we discussed Lent and Easter activities over a cup of coffee and some other goodies at our local McDonald’s.

I went to an evening potluck and hymn sing at the church. That made for some good food, some good company and some good singing.

I went to watch a bit of a clinic at the barn - some fancy method of natural horsemanship. Interesting but I do not think it is for me or Abracadabra.

I met up with a friend for a movie and a meal. We watched Harvey - about the imaginary rabbit and it was good for a few laughs.

*****

In between all these different events in my life I spent lots of time with Abracadabra, in my house, at church and keeping in touch with friends.

How did I ever find time to work?
