Am I enjoying life?

A good question from a little book that I just started to read. If not - what changes do I want to make?

My horse, my house, my friends, my church life and faith journey, various volunteer activities, reading mysteries, watching DVDs and other programs taped on my new PVR - that is my life now and it is good.

Running my life and my house and keeping myself organized is what I like to do as well.

I was just reading again about someone on the Nifty Fifties WW Message Board and their struggles with aging parents.

Kathi and I went through that time but my mom was never difficult to deal with. She was not well at all at the end of her life but was ready to make major changes and give up her life in Lachute and move to Ottawa. That made a difficult transition time a lot easier.

I still think of her often. Just this morning I was opening my kitchen window I was remembering her kitchen window. There were little café curtains that she had made herself. At this time of year there would be some tomatoes ripening sitting on the windowsill.
