The new horse

She is a 6 year old grey mare. She was born in June 2002 and I have chosen June 15th as the day is unknown.

Her name is Abracadabra.

Her dad was Arab and her mom was Percheron and probably Quarter Horse.

She is 15 hands.

She has lived outside recently so she has a warm fur coat.

She is used to roads and traffic and is sensible.

She has been trained to drive so the barn owner is investigating a sleigh for some winter activities.

She is quite comfy to ride. I did not do too much with her the first time I got on her.

She needs to lose some weight. She will be ridden in lessons right away because she needs to get in shape.

She probably will not need to wear any shoes even in winter - she only has 2 on at the moment.

My saddle and bridle fit her quite well even though she is smaller than Bishop.

It will take us a while to get acquainted. She likes to be talked to.
